WoodFloors4U Handcrafted Versailles Panels
The history behind Versailles panels dates back to them being used in castles and palaces in France from centuries ago.
Each panel is handcrafted meticulously using seasoned Oak with geometric cut pieces all hand inlayed into each panel.
The smoked panel is not stained it’s an application method used by many to create a rich tone by smoking it with different methods in a sealed chamber depending on tone and colour required this process can take up to three weeks in some cases.
The panels are the brushed, removing any soft core from the surface to expose the natural beauty of the grain. Providing a lovely feel and texture. Each panel is finished in a UV resistant oil to nourish and protect against colour fade . All our panels are sustainably sourced.
Precision Crafted Engineered Versailles Floor Panels
Crafted with utmost attention to detail, our Versailles floor panels are engineered from high quality hardwood. Topped with expertly smoked Oak to create a perfect balance of depth and character. The smoky undertones create an atmosphere of refinement leaving a lasting impression with rich, earthy tones and subtle variations in grain.
Each panel features a breathtaking pattern inspired by the legendary Palace of Versailles, adding a touch of regal charm to any room.

Brushed & Oiled Finish
Steel brushes are used in the direction of the grain to bring out fine grain detail in our Versailles wood panels to offer a distinct and alluring aesthetic that captures the essence of natural beauty.
The brushed texture adds depth and character to the wood, creating a rustic and vintage charm that complements any interior style.
The oil finish enhances the grain and color of the wood, providing a protective layer. This makes the floor more resistant to wear and tear. This finish brings out the innate warmth and richness of the hardwood, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere in any space.
Environment Friendly Sustainable Certified Source
We are committed to sustainable sourcing practices, ensuring that the wood used in our panels comes from responsibly managed forests.
Make a statement by choosing our range of Versailles Wooden Flooring Panels. A luxury floor with environmental responsibility.
Engineered Wood Flooring
Engineered wood flooring consists of two or more layers of wood adhered together to form a plank. Typically, engineered wood uses a thin layer (lamella) of oak bonded to a core constructed from a ply base. The structure formed with each layer at a 90° angle to the layer above.
Installed on many subfloors. Engineered wood is the most common type of wood flooring in Europe. It has been growing in popularity in North America.
Tongue & Groove
One side and one end of the plank has a groove. The other side and end have a tongue (protruding wood along an edge’s centre). The tongue & groove fit snugly together, aligning the planks, whilst hiding the joint.
Tongue & Groove installation methods:
- Glue-down method (Engineered and Solid)
- Floating method with an underlay (Engineered only)
- Nail-down method (Engineered and Solid).
Types Of Floor Finishes
- Brushed & Oiled – Steel brushed in the direction of the grain. This opens the surface of the wood, removing splinters. Oil is applied to seal the oak.
- Oiled – Oiled floors are the most common floor finish. Oils for floor finishing are natural drying oils of vegetable origin. These oils are not petroleum based oils & contain no VOCs.
- Lacquered – Lacquered floors tend to be more durable and resilient to scratching. The lacquer provides a flat and smooth finish to the wood flooring.
